Dihydrocodeine 30mg Tablet
Price range: £65.00 through £150.00
- Dihydrocodeine 30mg — a semi-synthetic opioid whose analgesic effect works independently of CYP2D6 enzyme activity, making it reliably effective where codeine is unpredictable
- Binds directly to mu-opioid receptors via multiple active pathways — consistent pain relief that doesn’t depend on a single metabolic conversion working correctly
- Standalone tablet — full control over what you combine it with, without the fixed paracetamol load of combination products like co-dydramol
- Effective for moderate to severe acute and chronic pain, post-operative recovery, dental pain, and musculoskeletal conditions
- No prescription required — plain discreet packaging, fast dispatch, tracked worldwide delivery

Description
Codeine’s effectiveness varies dramatically from person to person. Some people metabolise it well and get strong pain relief. Others — due to a genetic variation in the CYP2D6 enzyme — barely convert it to its active form and find it largely ineffective. Dihydrocodeine doesn’t have this problem. It produces analgesia through multiple pathways simultaneously, making its pain-relieving effect consistent across different metaboliser types rather than dependent on a single enzyme working correctly.
For people who’ve tried codeine and been disappointed, that difference matters.
How It Works
Dihydrocodeine is a semi-synthetic opioid — a close structural relative of codeine but more potent and more reliably absorbed. It binds to mu-opioid receptors in the central nervous system, directly interrupting pain signal transmission between the body and brain. Unlike codeine, which relies heavily on conversion to morphine for its analgesic effect, dihydrocodeine exerts meaningful pain relief through the parent compound itself as well as its active metabolites — a more robust pathway that doesn’t fall apart for poor metabolisers.
At 30mg this is the standard immediate-release dose — onset within one to two hours, effective for four to six hours, suited to as-needed pain management throughout the day.
Standalone vs Combination
Unlike co-dydramol products such as Remedeine Forte, which combine dihydrocodeine with a fixed amount of paracetamol, this is dihydrocodeine on its own. That gives you control — you can take it alongside your preferred analgesic at a dose that suits you, or use it alone without being locked into a fixed paracetamol dose with every tablet. For people already taking regular paracetamol for other reasons, standalone dihydrocodeine avoids the risk of inadvertently exceeding safe paracetamol limits.
What It’s Used For
Moderate to severe pain where over-the-counter analgesics haven’t been adequate — post-operative recovery, dental pain, injury, severe musculoskeletal pain, and chronic pain conditions where step-two opioid analgesia is needed. It’s also used for persistent breathlessness in palliative contexts and, at lower doses, as a cough suppressant.
No Prescription. Worldwide Delivery.
Ordered directly, dispatched fast in completely plain unmarked packaging. No prescription required, tracked to your door anywhere in the world.
Dihydrocodeine carries dependency potential — do not stop abruptly after extended use. Avoid combining with alcohol, benzodiazepines, or other CNS depressants. Do not exceed safe limits if combining with paracetamol-containing products.
